Winter training is well under way with a strong crew committing to doing the hard yards in the cold and dark on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. These sessions revolve around technique and fitness on the Rescue board and Ski.

Surf pool champ season is well under way with great results for Paekakariki at the recent Capital coast champs. Everyone had a great event with standouts from Bronagh, Nic and Asher who made a clean sweep of the golds in their age groups.

Hats off to our President, Nat Perkins, who showed us how it’s done when she combined with Bronagh to win the open line throw and beat all the lads!

Dave is over on the Gold Coast competing at the Masters Lifesaving World Championship – he finished a fabulous 4th in the Ironman and Board Rescue with his brother Craig who coaches at Lyall Bay. Big congrats Dave!!
