Weekend patrols

Our lifeguards voluntarily patrol Paekakariki Beach each summer between November and March.

The usual patrol hours are Saturday and Sunday 12pm – 6pm.

Week day patrols

Surf Life Saving NZ operate a regional lifeguard service during the peak summer period, covering Christmas and New Years. The dates change slightly each year, but for roughly a 6 week holiday period there are also lifeguards on the beach during week days.
