New Building: Our supporters

Cuttriss

Cuttriss have been integral to the new building project. Cuttriss have donated time and resource in the way of their planning team, who successfully worked with KCDC, GWRC and a team of experts to obtain resource consent. Meeting the tight deadline to secure significant funding for our build project.

Kāpiti Coast District Council

Kāpiti Coast District Council provide ongoing support in the development of our new building project. Kāpiti Coast District Council have allocated $1m to our new building project.

Greater Wellington Regional Council

Greater Wellington Regional Council have been supportive throughout our build project; recently confirming they’ll cover the costs of adding public toilets and septic system to our new building, and will also fund and take care of the lizard study we require for resource consent.

Mills Albert Limited

Local Kāpiti business Mills Albert Limited are providing sponsorship and reduced rates for and earthworks and drainage.

NZ Lotteries

NZ Lottery Grants Board have allocated $500,000 to our new building.

Coastlands

Coastlands have donated $30,000 in 2022 and another $30,000 set to come in 2024.

Homestead Construction

Homestead Construction will start the work once we have building consent and funding. Best case scenario would mean beginning work this November/December. This company have been involved in the recent Lyall Bay and Levin-Waitarere Surf Club builds, so we’re in good company.

Pelorus Trust

Pelorus Trust have contributed $60,000 for the demolition of our old building and $130,000 toward the new build.

Quality Demolition

Quality Demolition carried out the demolition of our old clubhouse and offer continuing support in this space.

NZCT

NZCT gave us $200,000 towards the new build.

Hamish Wakefield of Hamish Wakefield Architects has been working with us since the beginning of this project to deliver a design that is both practical and lends itself to the environment.

Norman Disney & Young are supporting us with engineering and design services.

Kāpiti Lions Club

We’ve received $4,500 contribution to the new building fund.

Pub Charity have granted $40,000 towards the new building fund.
