Junior surf is almost ready to hit the new season. Well done to the 16 nippers who competed at Capital Coast pool rescue champs!!

We’re busy planning for the season and can’t wait to see everyone on the beach. In the meantime we have more opportunities for pool training and competing for our U11 and up nippers in our run up to our open day. Please be sure to look through the details for pool champs, including the individual entry fees that need to be paid.

30 August – Junior surf entries close for Central Pool Rescue Champs

31 August – Pool training session at Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre (0730-0830)

14 September – Central Region Pool Champs

4-5 October – Junior Surf events at National Pool Rescue Champs

15 October – Nippers Board training starts at Pauhatuanui inlet (U11-U14)

17 October – Nippers Thursday night pool training starts at Coastlands Aquatic Centre (7-8pm)

20 October – Junior Surf Open Day

27 October – Labour weekend – no Sunday nippers

3 November – Regular Sunday nippers starts (U8+)

1 December –  Little Nippers starts
