NEW MEMBERSHIPS 2025:
Our Little Nippers (U6 & U7) and older Nipper age groups (U11, U12, U13, U14)
are now full for the 2025/26 season.

We are still accepting new members for the U8, U9 and U10 age groups. Please complete a membership application form on the Surf Life Saving NZ website here (one per participating child) and our club administrator will get in touch. Age group cut offs are at 30 September e.g. if your child was aged 7 on 30 Sept 2025, they will join the Under 8 group (even if they are now 8)

About Junior Surf

Junior Surf, or Nippers as it’s commonly known, is for kids ages 7-13.
Little Nippers is for children aged 5 or 6 years old (at 30 September)

Registering

Returning member? No need to fill in any forms – just pay your subs (see below) and you’re good to go.

New members, please complete a membership application form on the Surf Life Saving NZ website here (one per participating child). Our club administrator will get back to you.

Fees

Subscription fees are set by the committee at the beginning of each season. To see the fees for this season please see our Fees page.

If you have more than one nipper or club member in your family then you may want to consider a Family membership.

Nipper Open Day

Our Nipper Open Day is scheduled for 12 October 2025, arrive at 1.30pm. This is a good day to get registered, meet other surf families, buy uniforms and equipment, and to just generally get a feel for the club.
