Homestead have been making great progress on site. The prep for the slab is finishing up and the backfill of the site is well underway.

Weather permitting, the slab on the south side of the building will start being poured later this week, with the rest happening over the next week. This means the project is on track to have construction of the ground floor completed towards the end of August, as planned.

The site has been backfilled, between the building and the dunes, with a lot of earth being moved over the past week.

While working on the backfill, Homestead have also moved a load of sand onto the beach accessway in front of the club, next to the patrol container. The recent storms had washed out the sand underneath the sand ladder, leaving it quite badly eroded. This will now be level and a lot safer.
