The Capital Coast Championships have been confirmed
for Sunday 17th February 2013!
The IRB component will be run as a twilight event at a later
date. This has been tentatively set as March 2nd,
however does clash with the South Region IRB champs which I
understand some crews will be travelling to. I'll be in touch
again with more details.
We will kick start at 8:45am with the Junior Surf competitions,
with senior events starting shortly after at 9:00am.
There have been some requests to postpone the Junior Surf till
later in the day, however with a very full programme and an
incoming tide we are unable to change it as requested.
There is an entry fee for this event, but your club will be
invoiced afterwards based on your total competitor numbers: $5 per
Junior Surf competitor, $10 per Senior Competitor.
I would also appreciate an approx. number of competitors per
club ahead of the event. So please complete the team declaration
attached to the event memo and send to me by 4pm Thursday
15th Feb.
