Hi all
A big well done to all those who braved the conditions on
Sunday at Otaki, I thought everyone did really well and I was
especially happy that the tent went up and down without any damage
(we hope). The tide going through the tent was a bit
unexpected and my files got a bit wet but hey it's only water. It
is actually pretty amazing to think that the 9yr and under got
their full programme in!
Our officials were awesome, thanks to Nat, Teri and Steve and
Steve again for trailer towing and getting the best spot!
Normal nipper day this week, Lynnie and I are away at Whangamata
but it should all be business as usual for everyone at the
club on Sunday.
This week was meant to be the last beach Nipper session but as a
few of us will still be around next week, the
22nd we will have an unofficial
Nippers Sunday on the 22nd as well.
It might not be a very structured session but if you are around and
need your beach fix come on down and I'm sure the kids will have
some fun.
The last pool session for 2013 is next week,
19th Dec.
Thanks to those who have responded saying they are coming to
Oceans, great that we have some new families involved, please get
back to me asap if you are thinking of going in Feb 2014.
